Provincial Housing Consultation - What We Heard
In summer 2024, the Manitoba government launched a survey inviting Manitobans to provide input to the final three-year Action Plan under the National Housing Strategy. Hosted on the Manitoba government's EngageMB platform, the online survey collected input on housing needs, priorities, populations in need of housing, and potential solutions. A total of 76 individuals participated in the survey.
In addition to survey responses, the Manitoba government received feedback in the form of a standalone written response from a non-government agency that provides social services across the province. The organization gathered responses from service providers across rural, suburban, and urban areas and emphasized that each region requires different approaches and priorities tailored to their unique needs.
The important feedback received from the consultation process has been summarized into a

The Manitoba government would like to thank all those who participated in the survey.
