Register Your Apprenticeship

Once you have done your research, double checked your registration checklist and have an employer to hire you, you can register as an apprentice. Either you or your employer can fill out the apprenticeship application which will require information and signatures from both of you.

Note: The start date of your apprenticeship is based on the day the Apprenticeship Application and Agreement is registered by the Executive Director or Delegated Authority. You will be notified once your application has been registered.

AccessManitoba – Create your account and follow the application instructions. This application is required to begin an apprenticeship and to be registered as an apprentice, to change a trade, or to change an apprenticeship employer.

The Apprenticeship Application can also be submitted through the mail. To submit, print and include signatures in ink where specified.

If you are not a Canadian Citizen or permanent resident a work permit and study permit will be required. If you have disability, ensure that you also complete and submit the Self-Identification for Clients Requiring Accommodations Form.
