The Mining Board
The Mining Board is established under The Mines and Minerals Act. The primary function of the board is the arbitration of disputes between surface rights holders and mineral rights holders with respect to accessing of minerals other than oil and gas. The board can also hear and resolve disputes between holders of mineral dispositions and between holders and officers of Manitoba Economic Development, Investment, Trade and Natural Resources.
