**NEW** Electronic Application Forms (eForms)

The NEW eForm or online application forms are available for individual Security Guard or Private Investigator Licence Applications including both New and Renewal licence applications.

E-Forms will:

  • allow information to be entered directly into the application form online
  • allow the documents and photograph needed for the application to be uploaded directly to the eForm
  • accept payment for the licence fee online at time of application
  • provide a confirmation number for the application

After February 15, 2025, the Private Investigators and Security Guards Program will no longer accept application forms by e-mail to pisg@gov.mb.ca.

Please submit all Individual Licence Applications for security guard and private investigator licences using the e-Form online application.

Important:

  • Please record your confirmation number which appears on the screen after submitting your eForm application. Please note that you will not receive a confirmation email with this information.
  • Proof of payment for your application is not considered confirmation that the licence has been issued or approved.
  • A licence will be issued once the application is reviewed and the licence approved.
  • Licence cards will be sent by postal mail to the applicant mailing address once the licence has been issued.
  • You may work only once you have received your licence card in the mail.
  • Only the applicant may submit their application form.
  • Documents uploaded to the eForm must be .jpeg file format.
  • Application requirements will remain the same as previously in place

Benefits of eForms:

  • Improved accuracy of information
  • Reduction of incomplete applications
  • More efficient payment processing
  • Information is submitted electronically to a secure government repository
  • A confirmation number is received to confirm the application was submitted
