The results of competitive bidding on November 9, 2022 for Crown oil and gas rights which was offered by Natural Resources and Northern Development, resulted in a total of $84,730.72 being added to provincial revenue.
Eleven lease parcels, covering 848 hectares (2095.41 acres) were sold for a bonus amount totaling $77,362.72. The average bonus price per hectare for lease parcels sold was $91.23 per hectare ($36.92 per acre).
This was the fourth land sale scheduled for 2022. The next sale will be held on February 9, 2023. The deadline for posting requests was November 4, 2022.
