The results of competitive bidding on Nov 3, 2021 for Crown oil and gas rights, which was offered by Manitoba Agriculture and Resource Development, resulted in a total of $26,352.97 being added to provincial revenue.
Five lease parcels, covering 304 hectares (751 acres) was sold for a bonus amount totaling $23,288.97. The average price per hectare for lease parcels sold was $76.61 per hectare ($31.00 per acre).
This was the fourth sale scheduled for 2021. The next sale will be held on February 9, 2022. The deadline for posting requests is November 5, 2021.
