Lease Sale Statistics (1979 - Current)
The results of competitive bidding on November 13, 2019 for Crown oil and gas rights which was offered by the Department of Resource Development, resulted in a total of $106,231.79 being added to provincial revenue.
Seven lease parcels, covering 400 hectares (988.40 acres) were sold for a bonus amount totaling $102,031.79. The average price per hectare for lease parcels sold was $255.08 per hectare ($630.30 per acre).
Synergy Land Services Ltd paid the highest price per hectare for a parcel located in the Manson area. The firm paid $1,145.83 per hectare ($463.71 per acre) as a tender bonus.
This was the final sale scheduled for 2019. The next sale will be held on February 12, 2020. The deadline for posting requests is November 15, 2019.
