The results of competitive bidding on May 10, 2023 for Crown oil and gas rights which was offered by Economic Development, Investment and Trade resulted in a total of $22,205.04 being added to provincial revenue.
Eight lease parcels, covering 668.391 hectares (1,651.59 acres) were sold for a bonus amount totaling $16,665.67. The average bonus price per hectare for lease parcels sold was $24.93 per hectare ($10.09 per acre).
This was the second land sale scheduled for 2023. The next sale will be held on August 9, 2023. The deadline for posting requests was May 10, 2023.
