The results of competitive bidding on May 12, 2021 for Crown oil and gas rights which was offered by Manitoba Agriculture and Resource Development, resulted in a total of $116,824.00 being added to provincial revenue.
Eleven parcels, covering 480 hectares (1186.1 acres) were sold for a bonus amount totaling $116,824.00. The average price per hectare for lease parcels sold was $243.38 per hectare ($ 98.49 per acre).
This was the 2nd sale scheduled for 2021. The next sale will be held on August 11, 2021. The deadline for posting requests is May 14, 2021.
