The results of competitive bidding on February 9, 2022 for Crown oil and gas rights which was offered by Manitoba Agriculture and Resource Development, resulted in a total of $207,103.23 being added to provincial revenue.
Nine lease parcels, covering 576 hectares (1423.33 acres) was sold for a bonus amount totaling $201,487.23. The average bonus price per hectare for lease parcels sold was $349.80 per hectare ($141.56 per acre).
This was the first sale scheduled for 2022. The next sale will be held on May 11, 2022. The deadline for posting requests is February 11, 2022.
