The results of competitive bidding on August 7, 2024 for Crown oil and gas rights which was offered by Economic Development, Investment, Trade and Natural Resources resulted in a total of $852,993.50 being added to provincial revenue.
Seventeen lease parcels, covering 1,367.25 hectares (3,378.47 acres) were sold for a bonus amount totaling $841,408.12. The average bonus price per hectare for lease parcels sold was $624.15 per hectare ($1,542.26 per acre).
This is the third land sale scheduled for 2024. The next sale will be held on November 6 , 2024. The deadline for posting requests is August 8, 2024.
