The results of competitive bidding on August 10, 2022 for Crown oil and gas rights which was offered by Natural Resources and Northern Development, resulted in a total of $384,104.87 being added to provincial revenue.
Fifteen lease parcels, covering 960 hectares (2,372.16 acres) were sold for a bonus amount totaling $374,744.87. The average bonus price per hectare for lease parcels sold was $390.36 per hectare ($157.98 per acre).
This was the third land sale scheduled for 2022. The next sale will be held on November 9, 2022. The deadline for posting requests is August 12, 2022.
