The results of competitive bidding on August 11, 2021 for Crown oil and gas rights which was offered by Manitoba Agriculture and Resource Development, resulted in a total of $26,771.31 being added to provincial revenue.
Thirteen lease parcels, covering 864 hectares (2135 acres) was sold for a bonus amount totaling $18,547.31. The average price per hectare for lease parcels sold was $21.47 per hectare ($8.69 per acre).
This was the third sale scheduled for 2021. The next sale will be held on Nov. 3 2021. The deadline for posting requests is August 13, 2021.
