National Public Service Week 2012 - Food Sculpture Contest
Whether you consider yourself a budding Michelangelo or more of a Pablo Picasso type, it's time to break out your artistic skills in this year's Food Sculpture Contest in support of a local charity!
The NPSW 2012 Food Sculpture Contest is an opportunity for public servants from all across Manitoba to celebrate their commitment to building a stronger community by creating a “non-perishable”work of art.
The process is simple!
- Collect non-perishable food items to create a one-of-a-kind food sculpture
- Build your sculpture (in teams or as an individual)
- Take a photo of your completed sculpture and submit it to: lisbeth.savard@pc.gc.ca.
- Donate the food items used in your sculpture to the local charity of your choice
- Sit back and wait for crowd adoration and glory
Photos will be posted online. The lucky contest winner will be selected through online voting and will be contacted at a later date.
Contest Rules
- The sculpture must be created entirely out of non-perishable food that is still able to be donated (i.e. do not take the food out of the boxes or packages).
