Minister's Message
Quality education and training opportunities help Manitobans achieve their fullest potential, while also contributing immensely to the development of a strong workforce that is vital to the social and economic well-being of our entire province.
As Manitoba’s Minister of Education, I am pleased to welcome you to our department’s website. Here, you will find comprehensive information about the many programs and services available to promote lifelong learning, from early childhood to post secondary education to continuing education opportunities. Through strong educational programming and effective administration, we will provide our citizens with the intellectual and practical tools they need to achieve their personal goals and succeed in an increasingly global economy.
We will also ensure that people immigrating to Manitoba receive the support they need to find good paying jobs, both from our government and from the federal government. This includes new immigration pathways for international students that provide a fast track to nomination for permanent residency.
As you tour this website, you will find valuable, province-wide information about schools, education policy, programs and services of particular interest to students, prospective students, educators and administrators, and newcomers to Manitoba.
We appreciate your interest in Manitoba education, as we continue to work to provide excellent, accessible education for Manitobans in all parts of this great province.
