Biography

Jeff Wharton was elected as the MLA for Gimli in 2016 and re-elected in the new constituency of Red River North in 2019. Wharton is an experienced municipal politician, having been elected as a councillor for the Town of Winnipeg Beach and serving two years as its deputy mayor. Wharton and his wife, Mickey, ran a successful business for over 20 years and Wharton as an active and successful member of many boards. The Whartons have two daughters and three grandchildren.
