Responsibilities

The Manitoba Indigenous Reconciliation Secretariat is responsible for the following legislation:

• The Aboriginal Languages Recognition Act
• The Path to Reconciliation Act
  • The Path to Reconciliation Act - Cree
  • The Path to Reconciliation Act - Dakota
  • The Path to Reconciliation Act - Dene
  • The Path to Reconciliation Act - Inukitut
  • The Path to Reconciliation Act - Michif
  • The Path to Reconciliation Act - Ojibwe
  • The Path to Reconciliation Act - Oji-Cree

Currently, there are 48 Northern Affairs Communities over which the Minister has municipal authority.
