Developing your Service Plan

Community Living disABILITY Services follows the guiding principles of the Adults Living with an Intellectual Disability Act, but the program is not named in the Act. This means that when you become eligible for Community Living disABILITY Services, you may not receive every service that is available.  Our goal is to make sure that you receive the right support at the right time in your life, from the people in your support network and from our services.

Community Living disABILITY Services wants to make sure that our service system is fair to everyone. All requests for services are prioritized based on your support needs, your current situation, and our available resources.

We will also do our best to make sure that services are available to you during key periods of change in your life, such as when you turn 18, and when you graduate from high school.

Learn more about the prioritization criteria or you can talk to your Community Service Worker.
