BUDGET 2026

With economic opportunities in Churchill and more good jobs across the province, Manitoba is a place where you can afford a good life. Budget 2026 delivers on that hope for the future, while continuing to make health care better and bring immediate relief to families on everyday costs like housing, gas, and groceries.

Budget 2026 is focused on:

Good Jobs
Since 2023, employment has been growing in Manitoba. Our historic capital investment continues to create good Manitoba jobs, while we work to develop the Port of Churchill to create good jobs and economic prosperity for generations to come.

Lower Costs
For generations, Manitoba has been an affordable place to raise a family, and we're proud of that. But as costs continue to rise across the country, people are feeling squeezed. We're here to help, with new measures to tackle everyday costs like gas, housing, and groceries.

Better Health Care
For the third year in a row, our government is investing more in health care, with new initiatives to take the pressure off our emergency rooms and lower wait times.

Safer, Healthier Communities
For the third year in a row, our increases to municipal funding, policing, and education are helping communities grow, while more investments in affordable housing and community infrastructure are helping families across the province.

A Government that Works for You
By modernizing and improving government services, we are working hard to make life a little easier for you.
