The information of Alfred P. Stewart of Kola in the Municipality of Wallace, farmer, taken upon oath before me the undersigned a Justice of the Peace in and for the Province of Manitoba at Elkhorn in the said Province of Manitoba this sixth day of March in the year eighteen hundred eighty nine, who says that he has just cause to suspect and believe and does suspect and believe that Mary Rex – Widow of Kola in the Municipality of Wallace within the space of twenty four hours but past to wit on the fifth day of March at the district of Kola in the Province of Manitoba aforesaid did obtain one Hilda Blake with intent to deprive her lawful guardian the said A.P. Stewart of possession of said Hilda Blake, contrary to the form of the statute in such case made and provided.
