Work at an Immunization Clinic
The COVID-19 vaccine is now available in Manitoba. As more vaccine is delivered in the coming weeks, teams of people will be needed across the province, in a number of positions, to make this historic immunization campaign a success.
You can help protect Manitobans from COVID-19. Positions are available for people with a wide range of skills and experiences. You may have worked in the health care field or simply want to take action and be a part of Manitoba’s immunization effort.
The immunization campaign is expected to last for months, expanding throughout the province. Currently, we are hiring:
- immunization clinic administrative assistant/scheduler (NEW)
- regional manager of immunization clinics (NEW)
- immunization team members
- clinic managers
- immunization clinical leaders
- clinic navigators
- post-immunization observation team members
Please note: These postings will open in a new window, where you can complete an online application.
Paid training may be available for some positions, depending on your qualifications. A new micro-credential course is available through Red River College for eligible immunization team members who are expanding their scope of practice to include the COVID-19 vaccine.
Casual immunization nurses who are already employed by a region do not need to apply again for immunization positions.
Every precaution will be taken to help protect Manitobans who work in a vaccination clinic, including appropriate personal protective equipment. People who administer the vaccine are also prioritized to be immunized.
